This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases in the CatchMile mobile application (the "App"). Because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android) is the merchant of record for every subscription and in-app purchase.
1. Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play
Auxility, Inc. does not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. All charges, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple (under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions) or Google (under the Google Play Terms of Service), depending on where you downloaded the App.
2. How to request a refund
On iOS: visit reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/118223), sign in with your Apple ID, select the CatchMile purchase and follow the prompts.
On Android: open your Google Play order history at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory, select the purchase and request a refund. Apple and Google review each request and decide the outcome under their own policies.
3. Cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in your Apple ID settings (iOS) or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions (Android). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund the current period — use the store process above to ask for a refund of a charge.
If you turned on a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged.
4. What is free
Automatic drive tracking, the tracking guard, dollar values at the IRS rate and manual editing of drives are free, with no purchase required. The free tier shows your first 40 drives over the life of your account. Only the paid subscription involves a charge, and only those charges are covered by this policy.
5. Your drives after a refund or cancellation
We do not delete your drives when a subscription is cancelled, lapses or is refunded. Drives recorded while you were subscribed stay in your log; features that need a subscription become unavailable until you subscribe again.
6. Restoring a subscription
An active subscription belongs to your Apple ID or Google account. If you reinstall the App or move to a new phone signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account, your subscription is restored — restoring is not a new charge.
7. Contact
Apple and Google decide refunds for their stores, but if you have a question about a purchase, write to support@app.auxility.ca. CatchMile is an independent app by Auxility, Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, Walmart, Amazon, Shipt, or Grubhub. Platform names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe the work a driver does.
